How do I remove a Facebook pixel from my Business Manager?
Facebook has made the Business Manager layout more difficult so it’s not possible to delete your Facebook Pixel. Facebook may re-enable the feature in the future. We will show you how to delete Facebook Pixel from Business Manager.
Although you cannot delete the Facebook Pixel from your Business Manager currently, you can at least remove it from your Facebook Ad Account, which is connected to the Pixel, so it doesn’t get set up as an optimization event when creating a new Facebook Campaign.
How do you remove a Facebook Pixel from your website?
It is best to remove Facebook Pixel from your website. Even if the Facebook Pixel isn’t deleted, as long it isn’t on your website, it will not be able to send any Pixel data.
You must delete any Facebook Pixel codes you wish to remove. You may have multiple Pixel codes on your website simultaneously. The Facebook Pixel ID can be used to verify that you are deleting only the correct Facebook Pixel.

Remove Facebook Pixel when the Code was Installed Manually
If the Facebook Pixel code was manually installed into your website’s head section, you will need to manually remove it from that section.
It is possible to check if the Facebook Pixel has been installed in your website’s head section by opening your website and pressing CTRL+U. Search for the text Facebook Pixel within the front-end code.
Google Tag Manager’s Facebook Code Code Can Be Removed
You must delete the Facebook Pixel after installing it via Google Tag Manager. This is done by stopping or removing any tags that fire the Facebook Pixel events from your website.
Even if you didn’t install the Facebook Pixel and aren’t familiar with Google Tag Manager, you should still be able remove it by stopping any tags related to it.
If you believe the naming conventions to be correct, then you should immediately stop any events that include the name Pixel or are related to Facebook. You can click on tags to check if they are similar to Pixel codes.
To only see Tags, click on Tags when you sign in to Google Tag Manager.
You can now choose tags related to Pixel. Click on the Facebook Pixel Tag that you wish to delete. Click on the tag to open it and edit it. Click on the three dots in the upper left corner. Click on the pause/delete button to stop or continue deleting tags.
You must confirm that you deleted or paused the Facebook Pixel Tag Manager tag by saving the changes. To ensure that you have the correct tags paused, we recommend stopping all tags.

Can you delete a Facebook pixel?
While you used to be capable of deleting a Facebook Pixel, the new Facebook Business Manager interface does not allow this. The only options are to delete the Facebook Pixel code or remove it from your ad accounts.
